The Championship Bout
In the tournament, Keerthana was matched against a fighter from the Meghalaya team. Only later did they learn that her opponent was the daughter of the Meghalaya team coach— and also had international fight experience.
From the opening bell, the opponent came forward aggressively, throwing wild power punches looking for a knockout. But Keerthana read the fight smartly.
She maintained distance, controlled the pace, and overpowered her with high-volume combinations — landing clean elbows and knees, and finishing the bout in style. 💪🏼
